Probe in politician's murder underway in Quetta
QUETTA: As many as 12 persons including three associates, of a banned religious outfit, have been apprehended in connection with the investigation of assassination of a political leader being underway in Quetta on Tuesday, police sources said.
But police sources also added that the chief suspect is still at large.
Police officials told media, Hussain Yousufi, the Chairman of Hazara Democratic Party, was gunned down by unknown militants on Monday which led to detention of many suspected persons in Quetta on Tuesday including three associates of a banned religious outfit. However, the chief culprit is still at large.
Police also appealed people to cooperate with security officers in catching the criminals.
