Lg Ks 360

LG KS360 is a mid-ranger that will easily catch your eye with bold colors and quirky controls. LG have managed to create a handset that's cunningly full of character, though it's kinda hard to think of it in the hands of a grown-up. It does seem like a toy at first glance and those color combos are to die for if you are of certain age and attitude.

Yet quite unexpectedly, LG KS360 is quick to serve a bunch of nice features such as a large and vivid 2.4-inch display, full QWERTY keyboard, a 2 megapixel snapper and… believe it or not… a wee tot of touchscreen.

This midrange phone isn't exactly hard to keep your cool about and the flashy paintjobs don't help much either. But we were pleasantly surprised by the ergonomics and performance of the KS360. So while we gear up to put the LG KS360 through its paces, you better get yourself ready to be surprised too.

Drone attacks can put Zardari’s govt at risk: experts

LONDON: Elite Western defence experts believe that the US-led military intervention is faltering in Afghanistan and can collapse unless a robust diplomatic strategy, involving tribal outreach and a more coordinated international approach, is adopted, said International Institute for Strategic Studies survey.

They also warned that the continuing US strikes in Pakistan’s tribal areas could undermine the position of President Asif Zardari.

The survey also warned that continuing US strikes against alleged Taliban and al-Qaeda targets in the Pakistan’s tribal areas could undermine the position of President Asif Zardari.

“To effectively pursue the campaign on terror, he will need to balance growing US pressure for military strikes in the tribal areas with the Pakistani Army’s decreasing tolerance for such attacks,” the report said.

“He will have to ensure that the ensuing domestic political turbulence, heightened by the growing economic crisis, does not place his own government at risk from the Army.”

Hillary concerned over civilian casualties at Pak-Afghan border

WASHINGTON: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has said she has personally expressed US concerns to both Pakistan and Afghanistan over civilian casualties in its attacks against militant targets in the Pak-Afghan border region, which she termed as a source of instability for both neighbours.

Clinton declined to comment specifically on any of the drone attacks on the Pakistani side of the Afghan border but indicated that as the Barack Obama Administration moves forward the issue of civilian casualties will be part of its assessment.

“I am not prepared to talk about that. I think that, as I mentioned, we are looking very broadly and comprehensively at the situation in Afghanistan and Pakistan and along our borders. I have personally expressed to both President (Hamid) Karzai and President (Asif Ali) Zardari our concern about civilian casualties. That is an area that, you know, we are following closely,” she told reporters at the State Department.

“And it will be as we move forward, certainly, a part of our assessment. But there’s little doubt in anyone’s mind that the border areas between Afghanistan and Pakistan are a source of instability for Afghanistan, for Pakistan, and far beyond the borders of those two countries. So there will be more to report about our views as to how we’re going to proceed in the future,” she added.

The Secretary of State said the Obama Administration felt it was imperative to appoint a high-level representative for Pakistan and Afghanistan.

“With Afghanistan and Pakistan, there has been an ongoing review that was begun under the former administration that has put a lot of actions in motion.

“And we are engaged very vigorously in trying to assess what has been done before and what we are going to be doing. And we thought it imperative that we had a high-level representative” and in this case, Richard Holbrooke “to be guiding that process with us.”

Sherry Rehman said Pakistan Muslim League-N, by its presence in the government as well as in the opposition, taking undue advantage of its position.

She said there is no interference of the government in judicial process. The PML-N should refrain from adopting the approach of confrontation and taking enjoying dual benefits, she added.

The Information Minister said steps are being taken to halt the broadcast of FM radio stations in Swat.
